Introduction
Welcome to Hypnotherapy Training Australia (HTA). These Terms of Use apply when you access or use our websites, online learning platforms, course materials and other digital services provided by HTA.
By using our websites or enrolling in an HTA course or training program, you agree to these Terms of Use and any additional enrolment, payment or course conditions that apply to the program you have chosen.
Use of Our Websites and Learning Platforms
You agree to use HTA websites, student learning platforms and associated services for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with their operation or the rights of other users.
Where you are provided with a personal student account or login, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information. Student accounts and access to course materials are for the enrolled student’s personal use and must not be shared with another person.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, course materials, training resources, videos, recordings, scripts, manuals, presentations, graphics, logos and other content provided by HTA are owned by HTA or used by HTA with appropriate permission.
Course materials are provided to students for their personal education, study and professional development.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, share, upload, record or commercially exploit HTA course materials or training content without prior written permission from HTA.
Course Enrolment and Access
Enrolment in HTA courses and training programs is subject to acceptance by HTA and any applicable entry or prerequisite requirements.
HTA offers a combination of self-paced online learning and live training programs. Access arrangements, course requirements, training dates and completion requirements may vary between programs and will be communicated as part of the relevant course or enrolment information.
Students are responsible for ensuring that they have suitable internet access, equipment and technology to participate in online learning and live training where required.
Fees, Payments and Refunds
Course fees and payment arrangements are those stated at the time of enrolment or otherwise agreed in writing with HTA.
Students participating under a Private Tuition Payment Plan are also subject to the terms and conditions of their signed Payment Plan Agreement. Your current agreement makes clear that it sets the payment terms for tuition fees and that students are required to maintain their agreed payment schedule.
Refunds and withdrawals are governed by HTA’s current Returns and Refund Policy and, where applicable, any individual enrolment or payment agreement.
Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to participate in HTA training in a respectful and professional manner and to comply with applicable course requirements, student policies and codes of conduct.
Access to training, course materials, recordings and learning platforms may be suspended or withdrawn where a student seriously breaches HTA policies, misuses course materials, or fails to meet agreed payment obligations.
Educational and Professional Responsibility
Completion of an HTA course or qualification does not remove a student’s or graduate’s responsibility to practise within their level of training, professional scope, applicable laws and the requirements of any professional association to which they belong.
Students and graduates remain responsible for determining whether particular training or qualifications meet the requirements of an employer, professional association, insurer or other organisation relevant to their individual circumstances.
Website and Course Availability
HTA takes reasonable steps to maintain access to its websites, learning platforms and course materials. From time to time, access may be interrupted due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party services or circumstances outside HTA’s reasonable control.
Where appropriate, HTA will take reasonable steps to restore access or provide alternative arrangements.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to These Terms
HTA may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes to our training, services, systems or legal obligations. The current version will be published on this page.
